Please reach us at norsemenhauling@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer from the list below.
We currently remove household and commercial items, furniture, appliances, trash, mattresses, clothing, shoes, electronics, tires, landscaping materials, broken items, toys, grills, tools, lawn or patio equipment, old hot tubs, playsets, or anything you can't move or get rid of on your own. It's a large umbrella and we've had some unusual requests, so don't hesitate to ask! We are also able to take batteries as we take those to a recycler. We are able to take paint cans as long as the paint is either dried out or has been mixed with kitty litter or newspaper to dry it out. We do, however, have a policy on hazardous materials. We currently are not hazmat certified and we are unable to remove things like those listed here: https://ehs.ucsc.edu/shipping/hazardous-material.html
We strive to recycle or repurpose applicable materials that we remove from jobsites including metal, cardboard, and paper products to avoid putting it in the landfill if possible. Any household items like furniture, appliances, clothing, etc., that can be reused we donate to local charities. If the items are broken but can be fixed, we donate those to local business owners to help boost community shops. We fully comply with local laws and statutes regarding proper disposal of tires, batteries, and propane tanks by using local recycling facilities.
It entirely depends on the job. We all know we like to get quotes online in a jiffy and maybe some junk removal companies like to do that. But we're different. We like to see the project, whether in person or through photos, actually get to know our customers and their specific needs and come up with a price that is fair for all of us. Plus it gives you a chance to add services or items or take them off if you need to because you're not locked into a "price per yardage or ton" type situation with us. We call it customer service and it's rare these days.
We service Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, Cabot, Beebe, Searcy, Conway, Russellville, Hot Springs, Pine Bluff, and all the little towns in between. We usually work within a 2 hour radius of the Little Rock Metro.
We provide hauling services for folks who may need it. If you purchased an item like a piece of antique furniture but the store can't deliver it, we can do that. If you bought a washing machine online from a private seller but you only have a sedan, call us. If you need something hauled from your home to storage or vice versa, let us know! Do note that we are not movers by trade so please contact a reputable company for a complete household move as we are not equipped or staffed for that. We also are not able to move things like large intact storage buildings, vehicles, mobile homes, motorcycles, etc.
Absolutely! We are licensed by the State of Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board for demolition and painting and we are fully insured. You may check our credentials at any time with the State Board by clicking here and entering our name or our license number which is found on the Contact Us page: http://aclb2.arkansas.gov/clbsearch.php
We've done everything from busting up concrete sidewalk, pulling out ceramic floor tiles, removing paneling/molding/door frames, taking out subflooring, eliminating awnings, brick structures, sheds, pulling up fences, taking down interior walls, stripping down outside patios, dismantling hot tubs, and more!
The triquetra (from a Latin word meaning "three cornered") is an ancient symbol for the Trinity. It comprises three interwoven arcs, distinct yet equal and inseparable, symbolizing that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct yet equal Persons and indivisibly One God. Early Christians used the triquetra to symbolize the Holy Trinity and would add a circle to represent eternal life. This is the symbol in our logo representing our faith.
Excellent question! Let's be honest, there are a lot of great junk removal companies out there. In fact, we see little signs on the side of the road for them all the time. You probably have too. But we're not just junk removal, we go above and beyond. We're a multi-faceted business that takes on the little extras that most companies don't. We're also old school. The owners answer the phone. There's no 800 number here. No robots or AI, no hold music, no red tape. And, many of the customers we've served are now friends. There's no better honor than that.
For larger jobs, we usually require a good faith deposit up front with the remainder being due at completion of the job to your satisfaction. But fear not, we provide prior customer references upon request and we will complete a signed contract with you for your peace of mind and ours. We want your confidence in us to be high. Our reviews are earned by our integrity and our communication with our customers.
We currently accept cash, CashApp, Venmo, PayPal and check.
The Norsemen Team has a motto of "leave it better than you found it". It's an old camping practice where we left sites cleaner than what we found when we arrived. It's called hospitality. What does that mean for you? It means that our team goes the extra mile to ensure that your project site is given extra love. We sweep, we rake, we clean as we go. We even have magnets to pick up nails, screws, and metal bits. Your property gets the royal treatment because we care about our customers and what belongs to you.
